Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SaveBite (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.

2. The service

SaveBite is a marketplace connecting food businesses selling surplus food (“Partners”) with customers. SaveBite is not the producer of the food; Partners are solely responsible for food quality, labelling, allergens and compliance with applicable food safety regulations of Pakistan.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms, with audit-logged justification.

4. Orders & pickup

Orders are reservations of surplus food for collection within the stated pickup window. Surprise Bag contents vary by definition. Orders not collected within the window may be marked no-show without refund; where possible, uncollected food is donated.

5. Payments & refunds

Prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include the displayed service fee. Cancellations before the pickup window opens are refunded as wallet credit. Disputes can be raised within 48 hours of pickup and are reviewed by our trust & safety team.

6. Partner obligations

Partners must list only food that is safe and fit for consumption, honor confirmed orders, maintain accurate pickup windows, and comply with the Punjab/ICT Food Authority requirements. Commission and payout terms are defined in the Partner Agreement.

7. Loyalty & referrals

Points, badges, streaks and referral rewards have no cash value, may expire, and may be adjusted to prevent abuse.

8. Prohibited conduct

No misuse of the Platform including: reselling rescued food commercially without disclosure, manipulation of reviews, scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with other users.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveBite's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid through the Platform in the preceding three months. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms with notice via the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts of Islamabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
